About Mak M.

I’m a researcher, strategist, and community builder with experience in public systems, nonprofit leadership, and digital outreach. My career began in healthcare and government, where I learned how to ask the right questions, navigate government systems, and advocate for people in high-stakes situations. Over time, I transitioned into program leadership, UX research coordination, and product engagement work—most recently supporting refugee communities. Before, I collaborated with engineers on app design and user testing. Whether I’m recruiting participants for a usability study, gathering feedback from school districts, or leading a team through a crisis response, I bring empathy, insight, and systems thinking. I’ve led teams, built partnerships, and translated complex input into clear, actionable strategies. I am open to work and/or if you want to chat about research, equity, or creative paths into tech.
