Background
About Makayla Scurlock
I am a graduate of Southern Oregon University with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication, a minor in Ethnic and Racial Studies, and a certificate in Conflict Management. During my college career, I have gained experience as an Operations Coordinator with TrackTown USA. It has been a great experience getting to work with such a well-known company to learn about what goes on behind the scenes of major Track and Field events. Taking Communication courses has been key to my growth in interacting with the people I work with and others around me. I want to ensure that with anyone I come across, I leave a positive impact on their life. In addition to this, I also have experience with coaching and mentoring basketball to young children. Nothing makes me happier than helping to lead people to where they want to go in life.
