Bio My name is Makeba I'm located in Cardiff, South Wales I have worked in the TV and Film industry for 7 years, I started my career as a Supporting Artist on various drama sets. From there, I progressed into a range of roles including Office & Floor Runner, Location Researcher, Casting Assistant, and Casting Researcher, and Development Researcher. My background in care for individuals with SEN, such as Autism,Dyslexia and personality disorders, has allowed me to bring a unique perspective and knowledge to my work in both factual and drama. My dedication to crafting compelling and informative content, combined with my expertise in using research allows me to conceptualise and shape the direction of any project, from development to post-production, In addition to my work, I also serve as a Non-Exec Board Member of Watch Africa. About Watch Africa: Watch Africa CIC was launched as a film festival in 2013 by Fadhili Maghiya in response to the lack of representation and cultural provision of Black and African culture within Wales. Since then, Watch Africa has grown into a cultural consultancy and production company that operates on a global scale. We provide a range of consultancy, production and research services, as well as a platform for African films, art and culture in Wales and beyond
