I’m Malakai—a director, immersive artist, and founder of MATR3ARC, a newly launched futuristic art house designing radical new worlds through film, ceremony, and experiential installation. My work centers memory, spirit, and transformation—crafted through large-scale art, narrative media, and sacred technology. Through MATR3ARC, I create immersive exhibitions and story-driven environments that explore identity, healing, and reimagined futures. Our debut series, BLOODLINE, invites audiences into cinematic rituals—where community and ancestral resonance converge in multisensory form. Alongside this, I lead Made In Her Image—a nonprofit dedicated to building equity in film by empowering young women and non-binary creatives of color. We’ve collaborated with A24, Disney, Universal, and others to train and launch the next generation of storytellers. As a director, I’ve built work across Showtime, HBO, Netflix, and festival stages like Sundance and Cannes—bridging cinematic craft with cultural intention.
