About Malaurie Bluhm

I have my M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with concentrations in both AODA and Child/Adolescent Counseling. I am licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota and have been licensed for the past 5 years. I currently work in private practice where I see adolescents and adults for individual therapy sessions in an in-person and virtual capacity. I have previous experience working full-time as a Mental Health Professional at Mental Health Systems, Inc, an outpatient clinic focused in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I facilitated a co-occurring adult group (focused on chemical dependency) and an adolescent DBT group for 2 1/2 years. I also provided individual therapy sessions both in-person and virtually, and completed diagnostic assessments for programming. I also have a previous experience of working in an outpatient chemical dependency treatment center. There, under supervision for licensure, I completed diagnostic assessments, facilitated weekly group sessions, individual sessions, medication management services, and Women's Domestic Violence programming. I also have previous experiencing working as an intern in the Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) program at Nystrom & Associates in Woodbury, MN. Through this internship I attended trainings, completed supervision, and consulted with other professionals to provide an appropriate level of care to my clients. Outside of work I enjoy going on walks with my dog, being outside, or attending concerts with friends.
