About Malcolm Boswell

I am a person with an eclectic and multicultural background who enjoys problem solving. I have worked in a wide array of jobs from selling encyclopedias, serving as a legal assistant, worked in the hotel industry in various capacities, cashier, construction, logistics in the military, professional translator and interpreter (English - Spanish and Spanish-English), employment specialist and Labor Economist. I have studied a broad array of scientific, arts and humanity subjects but graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Management and Communications with a Human Resource Management focus from Concordia University in Portland Oregon. As part of my current position as Labor Economist I returned to school to to complete the 24 hours of economics and 9 hours of statistics required. In this position I have worked with a variety of populations: Adult workers, youth, people with disabilities, workers re-entering the work force with difficult backgrounds, veterans and migrant workers. I am currently open to the possibility of yet another career change to continue my passion for learning and building new skills. If there is one area I am most interested in becoming more knowledgeable about is computer and software programming.
