Wornington Green Estate Phases 1 & 2Totals £130m regeneration comprising construction of new dwellings ranging from 3 storey mews houses to 15 storey flat blocks. There will be full replacement of existing social housing, with the balance of about 450 units for sale to provide funding.24-25 Great Windmill Street, W1£1m refurbishment and vertical extension of an existing load bearing masonry and steel framed building. As part of the remodelling four load-bearing masonry piers in the basement and two load bearing spine walls at ground floor were removed and replaced with steel universal columns to increase the net letable area.Canalot Studios, Kensal Road, London W10£4m refurbishment and vertical extension of an existing 3 storey building. A major part of the Client brief is to maximise the number of tenants remaining in-situ during construction work. To help achieve this I designed the two storey vertical extension utilising steel and lightweight concreteconstruction. This, together with back analysis of the existing structure has resulted in no new foundations nor strengthening works having to be carried out to the existing foundations.14-18 St Stephens Street, Norwich£3.5m extension of an existing two storey retail unit into a four storey retail unit. Extension was carried out with half of the ground floor remaining in use throughout the constructionphase necessitating an 11m cantilever to hang the upper floors over the existing occupied half of the site.
