About Malcolm Dunson-Todd
I recently graduated with a Master's of Applied Science in Civil Engineering at Concordia University. My master’s thesis focused on standard testing for occupational exoskeletons in the construction trades, and I am currently a member of ASTM Committees F48 and F45. During my Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Maine, I concentrated in Structural Engineering and worked for three years as a research assistant at the Advanced Structures and Composites Center where I contributed to structural testing and 3D modeling for the floating offshore wind turbine project. My six years of engineering education and research experience have given me foundational skills in the following areas:(1) structural design and analysis,(2) data collection and analysis,(3) project management,(4) standards and compliance,(5) environmental assessment and sustainability,(6) technical writing,(7) bilingual collaboration in English (native) and French (B2 level), and (8) various software and programming languages, including Python, SolidWorks, RapidMiner, AutoCAD, and SimaPro.
