I am a CIMA/CPA/CCS - qualified Financial Controller, leveraging a wide range of experience across all areas of finance to protect cash flow and profitability. I am adept at creating financial reports which capture current, accurate data, including variance analysis to budget and forecast, to enhance senior level decision making. I review and develop financial policies and processes to ensure that organisations are compliant with best practices and all legal requirements. My experiences in Finance have been gained in a variety of organisations including Williams Lea Tag, H&R Block Canada (a seasonal Tax Professional role), TengizChevrOil LLP, Qatargas Operating Company, British Petroleum and KPMG. My roles have taken me around the world to places such as Canada, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Argentina and South Africa. Highlights of my career include reducing audit queries by c.80% and ensuring legal compliance; team member on the implementation of financial systems ensuring integrity of the data migration. I am eager to see what challenges and problems each day brings and coming up with innovative ways of solving them. I am always keen to support junior staff, enhancing their understanding of finance/accounting and helping them to progress further in their careers.
