About Malcolm Hohler

In the almost 4 years at my job, close to 3 of them has been spent as a line operator. my job consists of working with multiple different computer and robotic programs used to run glass from a 1200°+ furnace through a cooling process and into a custom rack to be sent off to an automotive factory. On top of being in charge of the computer programs and the like, it is also a part of my job to inspect every piece of glass (windshields mainly) that go through my line. in this I am looking for defects in the paint, scratches, distortion along with many other problems that could have occurred throughout the process. on top of a substantial checklist to be done once an hour to ensure product quality is at it's highest. With everything I am in charge of all at one time this has made me excellent at time management, organization, and problem solving since multiple things could go wrong from one hiccup. I believe with the skills I've learned from this job I am equipped with tools that will make learning any task quick and seamless and can and will jump in feet first to anything and everything I am doing. For the last 2 years I have been the union safety representative for my crew of 60+ people on the night shift. Aside from my duties at my factory job I am also a licensed life insurance salesman in Indiana
