About Malcolm Leslie

I enjoy creating places where people are going to live. While my initial engineering experience involved building roads and bridges, I soon moved into the land development sphere, eventually leading the land development division at Young Consulting Engineers. Attracted by the multi-disciplinary environment at Peets, I seized the opportunity to build communities in and around Canberra, and in Adelaide. As a keen cyclist, I take a particular interest in the environment. My most recent projects with Peet, the new Canberra suburbs of Forde and Crace, and the new town of Googong, are notable for their environmental initiatives. On a personal level, I do my bit for the local environment as convenor of the Banksia Street Wetlands carers’ group, restoring a wetland area in Canberra’s inner north.
