I hold a Level 8 Honours Degree in Architectural Design with over 15 years experience working in a variety of Architectural Practices in Ireland and Australia. In my current role at Michael Fitzpatrick Architects, I project lead the development of large scale industrial developments from design inception to completion with complex project demands and fast-paced delivery schedule. My key responsibilities include- Overseeing site meetings, and coordinating with the Design Team to ensure the project remains on track and adheres to the established timeline-Delegating tasks efficiently to team members while maintaining clear communication across the team and clients-Preparing Gant Charts / Programme schedules-Liaising with project equipment specialist to ensure project coordination and delivery-Preparing and distributing weekly meeting minutes, project schedules, and updates to both the Design Team and clients-Leadership in staff supervision and team management-Overseeing all construction aspects, including procurement, contract documentation, stage payments, and final accounts. In addition to my project leadership responsibilities, I bring extensive experience in preparing design, planning, and detailed drawings, with a deep understanding of current building regulations. Key responsibilities and expertise include-Preparing Fire Certificate and Disabled Access Certificate applications, ensuring compliance with relevant standards-Preparation of Commencement Notices, with a strong working knowledge of the BCMS Online system. Preparing Snag Lists, conducting inspections, compiling Hand Over File documents, and managing BCAR submissions upon project completion-Collaborating with local planning authorities and Building Control throughout the construction phase to ensure compliance and smooth project delivery- Preparing preliminary Health and Safety Plans tailored to each project’s specific needs-Demonstrating expertise in e-tender procurement platforms, particularly for tender submissions.
