Background

About Malcolm Noland

Over the past years I have held positions where I have learned different skills that have helped me to become the leader I am today. I have learned how to interview and recruit candidates for projects and job offerings that were available at jobs I have had. I also became the trainer of new employees or employees who need training pertaining to the projects that may be done. I have worked for Monsanto for over 3 years where I am a level 2 Agriculture Research Specialist where I work with the controlled environment (greenhouse) team as well as the Pathology Team. I hold many positions at Monsanto which include being a Site Emergency First Responder, Respiratory program owner, Certified Monsanto Representative, a member of the Behavioral Based Assesment team, member of the Safety Team, as well as being CPR and first-aid trained and Level 1 electrical trained to handle small electrical malfunctions that may occur. Before Monsanto, I worked as an intern for Ergon Refining Inc, where I worked as an Analytical Chemist where we tested oils and lubes for water content, heat limits, viscosity levels, nitrogen levels, and color according to the density of the oil before shipping it to our customers. I have gained leadership levels and experience and interested in growing more as a leader. Being a positive role model to the employees as well as the other staff members and coworkers is an important trait every good leader should acquire. Challenging coworkers and employees to become more involved in the job so that they can excel beyond their current level of employment while providing a positive work atmosphere can help a company succeed beyond expectation!
