Background
About Malcolm Omay
I've worked IT industry for my entire career and have been involved in it's development & growth right from the days of DOS PCs running on a massive 20MB Hard Disk, right through to current technology.Which is interesting given my entire school life I was planning on becoming a Park Ranger! At least I get to work for the same Department (DPIPWE) now, and also to assist these fantastic people as they keep Tasmanias National Parks the amazing places that they are. I've seen an amazing variety of changes in the IT landscape in almost 30 years, but the constant innovation keeps me excited & challenges me to keep informed & skilled in these developments. Unlike many of my contemporaries, I have always been very willing to embrace the Apple world & my current interest in a corporate sense is looking at the challenges involved in managing iPhone/iPad devices in a corporate environment & ensuring staff have the flexibility to use these tools to the absolute best of their ability.
