About Malcolm Pyle

I am now into my 24th year working within the pest related industry and I am qualified having passed the RSPH level 2 qualification in 2004 My career started in 2003 for a local company in Hull called Pest Shield, I was employed as a trainee technician moving up to specialist technician servicing numerous large and small clients such as audited food sites, facility companies and domestic customers. In 2006 Shield Pest Management was acquired by Envirocare, this was a new company providing a national service throughout the UK. During 2008 my role changed within the company and I moved into sales as a surveyor and service manager, managing 6 technicians in my area. Envirocare we’re taken over during 2010 by another large company. A local company from Selby called Shield Pest Management was my next destination and my role was varied with my title as Technical Surveyor. In year 2 the company moved into the audited food/retail sector and I sold numerous large contract including Youngs Seafoods and we employed 2 specialist technicians to service the contracts acquired. After 5 years at Shield Pest and 11 years working within audited pest management sites a change was required. I joined East Riding Group during 2015. My role as Sales manager was extremely varied as we provide numerous services including Pest Management, Bird Proofing, Solar Panel Proofing, Falconry, Grounds Maintenance, Gutter Cleaning and Winter Services to name a few. I left in September 2022.
