As a globally experienced executive, I've led operations from the industrial painting roots of Parker Brothers to part of the leadership of the Canadian operations of KAEFER, a German multinational service company, guiding projects exceeding $100 million in value. My leadership ethos is anchored in authenticity, collaboration, and leading by example. This approach has not only fostered positive financial outcomes, sales growth, and significant revenue generation but has also been pivotal in navigating both union and non-union environments effectively. I pride myself on creating diverse and inclusive workplaces, managing teams ranging from small specialist groups to large-scale operations with over 700 personnel. Areas of Expertise • Project Management: Mastering all nine knowledge areas with a track record of managing $60 -$100 million projects. • Business Development: From expanding business unit in Alberta from $2.6 million to over $45 million in three years to developing new markets and customer bases. • Consulting: Specializing in the development of new business areas and markets, including the successful negotiation of contracts, implementation of processes including Lean & ISO Quality Management systems, including review, analysis and auditing of processes. • Human Resources: Effective management and development of teams, fostering collaboration in union and non-union settings. • Quantity Surveyor: Ensuring the ethical and economic standards in construction, managing all project costs from budget to final account.
