About Malcolm Wong
A Bornean native from Sarawak, Malaysia; Malcolm grew up in Kuching before moving to Kuala Lumpur for undergraduate studies in the University of Nottingham Malaysia. While pursuing his academic interest in anthropology, he is an Advocacy Officer at Youths United For Earth (YUFE). He started off his climate involvement from an arts centered perspective in communications and social media, gradually expanding his scope to include policy analysis, advocacy and engagement. Malcolm is actively experimenting with multi-disciplinary and multi-media forms of research and storytelling for engagement and reflection in topics on climate and the environment; making inquisitive conversations between traditional ecological knowledge and modern intellectual thought to envision collaborative futures.
