About Malek Mitchell
Malek Mitchell is a first-generation graduate of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and Brown University. Mr. Mitchell is passionate about anesthesiology, social determinants of health, health equity, and medical education. Mr. Mitchell is currently a first-year MD candidate at the UNC School of Medicine. Mr. Mitchell is in the medical education scholarly concentration within the MD program which will prepare him to serve as a medical educator and researcher in the future. Mr. Mitchell currently serves as one of the co-presidents of the Student National Medical Association at UNC.
