About Malek Sadder

I am a passionate designer with an architecture degree from Northeastern University in Boston. Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to work with firms of varying sizes in New York, Berlin, London, and Beirut, on projects at every scale- from furniture to spatial design and masterplanning. I love using the design process to solve difficult problems, and enjoy deconstructing existing norms and conditions in order to challenge their validity in our constantly changing environments. I believe curiosity is the most important piece of the design process, and I hope to continue asking the right questions so that my work can make a lasting impact in the world.I have always been drawn to user experience throughout my career. I recently decided to dig further into this interest by taking online courses with IDEO that focus on the design thinking process and how to conduct user research. I believe all forms of design can benefit from taking the user's perspective into account and learning from their needs and desires. Aside from architecture, my passions include mixology and bartending, cooking, listening to podcasts, tennis, skiing, and learning.
