About Malena Ronga

I’m a Community Impact Coordinator passionate about advancing youth civic engagement, community research, and equitable program development. With degrees in Community Studies and Psychology from UC Santa Cruz, I specialize in building collaborative initiatives that empower diverse youth communities to lead change. My experience as a Residential Assistant gave me firsthand experience supporting mental health and well-being post-pandemic for college students, connecting them with vital resources. Additionally, at the Lionel Cantú Queer Resource Center, I worked to create an inclusive space, providing gender-affirming care, health resources, and organizing impactful events for LGBTQ+ students. Fluent in Spanish and skilled in program coordination, graphic design, and community outreach, I am committed to driving community-led impact for a more equitable tomorrow
