About Malene S. Simonsen

Currently finishing my bachelor's in Media Production and I'm always looking for opportunities to showcase my talents and improve my skills, particularly within the creative sector. I am an enthusiastic worker who takes pride in what I do and will work hard to achieve results. I have extensive experience in digital content creation, in particular videos. This includes; Directing, Writing, Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Presenting, and Editing. I value the importance of being adaptable and pride myself on being a quick and enthusiastic learner. My goal in life is to make a living out of telling stories and I hope to explore many different mediums throughout my career. I am actively looking for paid opportunities within content creation, social media, video production, film production, presenting, editing, and writing. I know it's a broad search, but I've got experience in them all and I think each medium can help inform each other, so keeping your skills broad can only benefit a media practitioner and storyteller. I gravitate towards stories that make people think about life and show perspectives they might not normally consider. I am a firm believer that stories can change people's views and therefore the world. I strive to champion complex female characters and LGBT+ representation and I'm a sucker for incorporating magical elements. If you are working on a story like this and are looking for collaborators, feel free to shoot me a message! I'm not picky about the medium and currently, I'm especially interested in making films, comics, and audio dramas. Besides being a 3rd-year student and working as a Video Support Assistant and Digital Content Creator for my uni, I enjoy being creative in any way that I can. This includes singing, creative writing, dancing, acting, drawing, knitting, animating - if you can express yourself through creating, I'm down! I also make youtube videos on two channels: My main channel (Malene Simonsen) where I make whatever type of videos I want and my new channel (MalFunctioningGames) which is exclusively for gaming content.
