About Malesia Britt

Visionary. Educator. Cultural Strategist. Faith-Rooted Storyteller. I’m Dr. Malesia J. Britt—a builder of people, platforms, and prophetic possibilities. For over two decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of education, faith, and justice, designing learning environments that restore, empower, and liberate. As the Founder & CEO of Ebb & Flow Ventures Media Group, I lead a purpose-driven platform amplifying faith-rooted voices through three branches: Ebb & Flow Press – Publishing redemptive books, devotionals, and discipleship resources Ebb & Flow Media – Producing podcasts, video series, and digital storytelling that inspire transformation Ebb & Flow Collective – Offering coaching, courses, and community programs to equip leaders for healing-centered, justice-driven impact My academic journey includes a B.A. from UNLV, an M.S. in Curriculum & Instruction, a Ph.D. in Psychology, and current pursuit of an M.Div. at Candler School of Theology. I’m a proud educator who has served as a classroom teacher, curriculum designer, and equity strategist in public schools for over 20 years—mentoring youth, training teachers, and redesigning systems to center belonging, justice, and community restoration. My advocacy work includes publishing in The Seattle Times, where my op-ed “Washington isn’t just losing Black teachers—it’s pushing them out” challenged policy leaders to reckon with racial inequity in education. I continue to use media, writing, and public scholarship to uplift stories that matter and mobilize change. I'm also the author of Concrete Chronicles an anthology of poems that explores resilience, healing, and the sacred beauty found in struggle, and co-host of the podcast Another Altar Call: A Liberatory Cypher, where faith meets real talk, healing, and Holy Ghost fire. Whether I’m preaching, coaching, or producing media, I’m committed to creating spaces where people rise in truth, purpose, and spiritual power. Interested in collaborating? I work with authors, ministries, creatives, and educators through coaching, consulting, and media production. Let’s connect.
