About Mali Langa

As the Founder and Executive Creative Director of House of Task, a black woman owned company in the creative design industry, I have a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces that reflect the needs and preferences of my clients. I believe in collaboration with other designers, architects, artists, service providers, and stakeholders, and I have built a reputation as a strong and innovative business leader in the interior design landscape. Since 2016, I have propelled House of Task into a multiple award-winning status, and in 2021, I expanded the business by merging with Eminent Designs, a shopfitting corporation with over 20 years of experience. Together, we offer a full turnkey service that includes project management, shopfitting, and construction, for high-end luxury interiors for retail, hospitality, commercial, and residential projects. I also act as the head stylist and international tastemaker, drawing inspiration from my love of travel and my flair for colour and contemporary style. My core competencies include commercial interior design, presentation boards, colour schemes, and client relations.
