About Malia Graham

I attended Baylor University and obtained my degree in Business Administration, focusing on Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurship. I graduated in December 2015 and was hired at Protiviti as an IT Consultant. I developed strong communication skills and learned how to quickly adapt to changing circumstances, including navigating C-Suite expectations. The partners at the firm showed me the importance of delivering beyond the expectations of the clientele along with the importance of teamwork, enthusiasm, passion to be challenged, and the importance of maintaining a healthy work environment. After three and half years at Protiviti I chose to step away from corporate America and pursue my passion for fitness and teaching. I became a cycle instructor with CycleBar which eventually led to becoming the General Manager of the location I instructed at. As the studio manager I learned how to engage with customers to deliver the highest level of customer service while also ensuring the studio turned a profit. My role included training personnel, studio upkeep, reporting weekly KPIs, daily emails and phone calls to prospective and current clientele, staff training, and sale execution. Unfortunately when COVID became a reality I made the difficult decision to step away from the fitness industry. I focused on my role as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in foster care which eventually led me to become a full-time CASA Casework Supervisor. I had the privilege of working alongside volunteers as we navigated the legal system to help ensure that the children we served were treated with respect, dignity, while also advocating for best interest. I rejoined the IT community in 2022 in a more technical role where I develop process automations and configure the application to better serve the client's needs for companies that utilize Infor Techonologies. As I experience different types of work environments the things I am passionate about pursuing have evolved over time. However, I find my core values and strengths remain constant: embracing responsibility, challenges, and opportunities to learn a new skill sets. I am always passionate about what I do in all aspects of my life.
