About Malin Lindgren

Ever since I was young I have been fascinated by people's goals and dreams. What makes one person and/or company succed and others not? Maybe that fascination comes from my inner belief that everything is possible - but only if you have a clear and visual goal, have analysed and know your "as is" position and have concrete plans and actions how to get there. I have used this method and way of working at all my previous workplaces, which has during the years contributed to great results in all my positions. Since 1998 I have worked within fashion retail - which is also one of my great interests and passions in life. The industry is for sure fast moving and stand before major changes, and therefore it is imporant to stay agile and action oriented at all times. In this industry I also get to use both my analytical as well as my creative side. I am driven by making a difference for the customer and I always put the customer and the business at the heart of everything I do. In my current role, my team and I are actively analysing the sales and make constant changes to the assortment to further meet the needs from the customers. I have also always been very careful to follow future consumer trends to make sure that the company I work for stand well prepared for the future. I consider the co-workers to be the biggest asset of a company. Therefore, I spend a lot of time trying to be the best leader as I possible can. To help every employee to perform according to his/her potential, it is important that the company has a clear and rooted vision, strong company values and clear goals connected to the previous two. My responsiblity as a leader is to clarify that process, to constantly develop the business and to focus on goals that makes the biggest difference.
