I’m Malini Rajkumar, a master’s student in Biotechnology at Northeastern University, Boston (expected Dec 2026). I hold a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, with a strong academic foundation in molecular biology, bioprocessing, proteomics, and cancer biology. My key interests include clinical operations management, quality assurance, drug testing, R&D, medical affairs, and human resource development in the biotech sector. I have hands-on experience in laboratory techniques like cell culture, nucleic acid isolation, Protein extraction, RT-qPCR, flow cytometry, and FTIR. Additionally, I have contributed to projects such as evaluating protein extracts’ bioactive properties and studying sulfur nanoparticles' effects on plant stress response. I have developed technical expertise and leadership skills through my roles as a lab trainee at Adyar Cancer Institute and founder of Sanskriti, a sustainable skincare business. With certifications in biosafety and hazardous waste management, I ensure safety and precision in my work. I am actively seeking summer internship opportunities to gain hands-on industry experience, contribute meaningfully, and expand my skills in biotechnology.
