About Malissa Gordon

Welcome to my profile! I am a dedicated government affairs professional with a passion for bridging the gap between public policy and community needs. With over 20 years of experience navigating the complexities of government relations, I have served as a successful advocate for industry, companies and communities. Throughout my career, I have developed strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and community organizations. My expertise in strategic communication and policy development has enabled me to effectively influence legislation and drive meaningful change. In my current role at Elevra, I have led initiatives to promote domestic lithium production while ensuring that mining practices meet environmental standards. This includes financial incentives that adopt sustainable practices and investment in infrastructure to support the lithium supply chain. Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy spending time in the state I have called home my entire life - North Carolina - from the mountains to the beaches and everywhere in between!
