About Malkit Singh

I am an Electrical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in electrical systems, automation, and maintenance. Currently, I work as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist at Altintas Gebäudeservice GmbH in Berlin, where I manage inventory and work with my team to keep operations running smoothly. Before this, I worked at Tata Steel for several years, troubleshooting electrical systems and improving automation processes. I helped reduce equipment downtime by 15% and improved system efficiency using programmable controllers. Alongside my engineering expertise, I led several technical projects, such as automating diesel generators and installing advanced lighting systems (DALI-2). These projects helped me develop skills in technical installation and commissioning, while also honing my problem-solving abilities in real-world scenarios. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, and I’m currently pursuing an MSc. in International Business Management at GISMA University of Applied Sciences in Berlin to further expand my business acumen. This has allowed me to gain a broader understanding of business strategy, operations management, and leadership. Outside of work, I enjoy 3D printing and playing football.
