To support the Field teams in the planning and Preparation of placements action plan. To hold briefing meetings on a group and individual basis with centre staff and students to make them understand the work placement process Identifying industries/companies/individual employers for placement of students To organize work placements and support students in the work placement process. To go on placement tracking visits to monitor the progress of students in job To deal effectively with any issues/concerns that may arise during the tenure of placement of the students. Distribution of relevant documentation to job providers to facilitate work placements. Create maintain and updation of a database of appropriate employer and commercial/industrial links. To do work placement correspondence and telephone enquiries internally and externally. To help monitor the progress of work placement of the centre’s in coordination with the centre teams. To organize work placement promotional activities like guest lecturers in applicable trades / holding job fairs etc. To find out gaps in training if any as per the placement requirements and initiating appropriate corrective measures in consultation with Project Manager Centre In charge and Trainer. To participate in appropriate industry meetings whenever necessary. Holding orientation programmers for the industry. Reporting to Program Manager for project updates physical and financial periodically as required. Any other project related activity which may come up in future as a result of donor / concerned govt. department requirements.
