About Mallory Cole

I am a Registered Nurse with over 13 years of experience. I am Critical Care certified. I began my nursing career in the outpatient setting working in an Oncology office and then an Urgent Care/Family practice center. I moved to florida and started with Lee Health in 2012. I started working on a med/surg unit and advanced to working in the ICU. After learning a great deal in the ICU, I wanted to gain the knowledge and skill set necessary for the initial stabilization and care of critically ill and injured patients from the moment they arrive. The transition from inpatient to the Emergency/Trauma department was a challenge but in time I’ve become proficient in all roles. I embrace challenges and always aim to be the best I can while also supporting and encouraging those around me. We all start somewhere, and with hard work and humility, we can do great things! I have excellent hands on and critical thinking skills. I currently work in a Charge Nurse position role and am able to lead a team during difficult situations. I believe in leading by example and am willing to do any necessary tasks when needed to help my team and our patients. I currently serve as the Chair of our Unit Practice Council. I was invited to be part of an Innovations Champions Council for planning for a new hospital. I am the recipient of a Key Contributor award. I am an individual that is always looking to grow. I value what Western medicine has to offer but also have a deep belief that there is immense value to alternative methods and preventative care.
