About Mallory Lowell

My professional focus within social work is working towards disrupting gender-based violence in the areas of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. I have over seven years of experience providing an anti-racist, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach to amplify and empower those who I am working alongside with. Additionally, leadership within this profession is my passion. I strive to provide participative leadership within any role that I take on. My goal is to provide a supportive working environment that encourages strategies towards avoiding burn-out and secondary trauma, as much as possible. I love to mentor new social workers who are entering into the field of gender-based violence to help them build a strong foundation to build their future careers on. I completed my Master of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University in June 2020. I also studied at the University of Hawaii at Hilo where I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as Certificates in Women’s Studies and Educational Studies.
