About Mallory Terry

I am a driven behavioural scientist with a passion for understanding human behaviour and developing innovative, evidence-based solutions to complex problems. With over in competitive research funding and a strong publication record, I bring a rigorous, interdisciplinary approach to my research. My research bridges together cognitive science, behavioural science, and human factors, tackling the question of how we use visual information to guide our actions in fast-paced environments. In my dissertation research, I designed and implemented a novel dual-task paradigm to investigate how people coordinate attention and motor responses under competing demands. This work not only showcases my strengths in experimental design, data analysis, and applied cognition but also has real-world applications in driving performance, perceptual-cognitive training for athletes, and interventions for individuals with attentional challenges. I thrive in data-driven environments and enjoy transforming complex findings into actionable insights and solutions.
