About Mallory Watters

Bringing over ten years of experience across government and non-government sectors spanning education, public health, gender equality, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs, and LGBTQIA+ inclusion. I bring particular expertise in evaluation, strategic policy design, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on improving outcomes for children and young people, families involved with child welfare or justice systems, and other marginalised communities. My approach is grounded in evidence and shaped by an intersectional understanding of how policy affects people’s lives. Currently chairing ACIL Allen’s Youth Health and Wellbeing Community of Practice, which brings together colleagues from across the firm to share insights on emerging trends, frameworks, and evidence in youth health and wellbeing. The group’s focus spans policy, practice, research, and data, all aimed at improving outcomes for young people aged 0–25 across Australia. My background also includes roles in regulatory reform, program evaluation, and community engagement, recognised through several Australian Public Service awards for performance and contribution.
