About Malon Lee

I recently graduated from the University of Missouri- Kansas City with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. I currently attend Jacksonville State University where I am pursuing a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Apart of JSU's program and CACREP requirements, I completed 100 hours as a practicum student at A Fresh Start Counseling LLC and 600 hours as an intern at McCallum Place Eating Disorder Clinic. Besides counseling, I am extremely passionate about coaching. I am a former athlete of The University of Missouri- Kansas City where I competed competitively for four years as a short sprinter. Following my collegiate career, I began volunteering at my former high school as the sprints coach for their track and field program. In August of 2022, I was hired as the graduate assistant coach for Jacksonville State University's Women's Track and Field team. As a graduate assistant, I was responsible for coaching, recruiting prospective athletes, and generating meet and travel logistics. With a formal background in track and field paired with proven success as an athlete, I am looking to pass on the knowledge and expertise that I have learned to other aspiring athletes.
