About Malora Huggins

Music Ministry Goal: I believe the voice is a gift from God that must be used to glorify His name. Music raises our spirits, hearts, and minds by bringing us closer to God. Classroom goal: I aim to inspire students to have a love for music. My goal is to encourage and prepare students to become productive members of society.Piano teacher/accompanist/musician: I have been teaching piano for 22 years, and play the piano for weddings, dinners, musicals, and several ensembles in the tri-state area. Life in Evansville, Indiana: I moved to Evansville, Indiana to attend the University of Evansville. I pursued a degree in music education and graduated cum laude. After graduating, I accepted a position at Holy Redeemer Catholic Grade School. I currently teach kindergarten to eighth grade music. In April of 2018, I accepted a restructure of my current position at Holy Redeemer/Mater Dei and remain in Evansville's Diocese. May 2020- I accepted a K-8 Music Teacher position at St. Benedict Cathedral School in Evansville, IN. May 2016: I graduated from Boston University with a Master's in Music Education. I developed a curriculum for special needs’ students in music classrooms that utilizes music and technology equipment.
