I started the passion in high school after sitting in my psychology and sociology classes, and was eager to find the perfect major when I attended Penn State University. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Labor and Employment Relations and a Bachelor's in Psychology. But my love for learning didn't stop there. I continued my time at Penn State and completed my Master's in Human Resources and Employment Relations. I was able to start my professional career at Nestle USA in their Human Resources Development Program, having the opportunity to move around to California, Indiana and Ohio, spending time in both corporate and factories. I then transitioned to a Talent Acquisition Specialist on the Early Career Talent Acquisition team, supporting early careers for our Technical & Production (Manufacturing) and Supply Chain groups. My job was to open doors for college students looking to pursue an internship, co-op or development programs and find a career at Nestle USA. After 6 years at Nestle, I worked at The NRP Group as the first-ever, Early Talent & Diversity Program Manager. I was responsible for developing and executing early talent recruiting strategies to attract and retain diverse talent for the NRP internship program and full-time employment. I also had the opportunity to sit on the DEI Leadership council as the leader of the talent acquisition and development pillar, working to increase diversity at a company level through early talent and hiring initiatives. In both companies, I was able to grow both professionally and personally, as well as get to do what I've always wanted to do.work with people. I am now the Early Talent Pipeline Specialist at Swagelok company, located in Solon, OH. I am passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion and HR. I am always looking for ways to grow, develop and learn along my HR journey. I am always looking to make new connections and helping others to find opportunities.
