About Malou Akkerman

I am a system thinker with a background in law, corporate strategy and entrepreneurship. My career began in a law firm and as a corporate lawyer within an international organization, but I quickly realized my drive was not in endless litigation, but in seeing the bigger picture, connecting the dots, and building systems that work. I thrive in complexity: transforming chaos into clarity, aligning people behind a shared vision and solving problems that don’t have a manual. As COO at codeGorilla and Alyx, we’re building a scalable structure and create the conditions for collaboration and innovation in the Tech industry! As a leader, I believe in empowering people to step into their full potential. I make the tough decisions when they are needed, while always fostering trust and connection. I am a strong connector who brings people and perspectives together, because growth only becomes meaningful when we achieve it collectively. We grow together. Diversity is not about ticking boxes. It’s about unlocking the full potential of people and organizations. If you want to explore how diverse talent can accelerate your company, let’s have coffee.
