Mechanical Engineer | Green Hydrogen Enthusiast | Global Citizen By learning about thermodynamics and energy conversion I found great interest in hydrogen technologies. Luckily, I was able to write my thesis in the fuel cell lab of the Leibniz University Hannover. Meanwhile I researched the latest green energy project and set myself the goal to join these pioneers by doing a voluntary internship. I found an ambitous pilot project at Continental that will show how industrial plants can reduce their carbon emissions most effectively by substituting natural gas with locally produced green hydrogen. By planning the hydrogen plant, speaking to electrolysis companies, calculating storage systems and dealing with administration´s obstacles I did learn what is needed for the green revolution. In my master I want to fully understand (if even possible) our energy system to design a better and more sustainable one.
