About Mamta Jain

I have combination of Business Development and Project Management skills backed up by 20 years of strong technical knowledge and International experience. I have a Ph. D in Coastal and Oceanographic Engineering from University of Florida with specialization in fine sediments and sea bed morphology.Technical experience includes hydrodynamics and wave modeling, cohesive and non-cohesive sediment transport modeling including the bed morphology and processes, dredging and spill modeling and related Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). More than 18 years of experience in Ports and Terminal and Dredging and Reclamation Projects, Navigation and Mooring, Downtime, Metocean Analysis & design, Coastal Structure Design and Siltation problems includes big Port projects i.e. Ras Laffan Port in Qatar, Jebel Ali Container Port in Dubai and Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi. In Singapore, my work includes various big port projects i.e. Tuas Port, Tuas Waterfront, Pasir Panjang Container Port, Singapore LNG, Tuas Port, Cruise Terminal, Tg Priok Port and Marunda Terminal in Indonesia. I have also worked on Port of Spain in Trinidad and Famouth Terminal in the Caribbean’s with many other projects in the United States. My research experience is in extensive lake dynamics studies related to sediment resuspension, dredging spills, water quality and eutrophication, general data and stochastic analysis with the US University, US and Singapore State and Federal government.
