About Man Mohan

Moving from a seafaring career to becoming a Naval Architect, I provide the subject matter expertise to contribute to digitalisation and decarbonisation of the maritime industry. I am the architect of RightShip's Greenhouse Gas Rating (GHG 2.0 Rating) system. This was delivered by research, discovery, development, and release of the speed- corrected Greenhouse gas rating (GHG) system in December 2023. It solved business’ challenge in identifying a green ship and escalating #maritime decarbonization while engaging all stakeholders and customers. I have also managed the complete life cycle of cloud and IoT based systems development and management of digital data tools such as Vessel Energy Efficiency Management System (VEEMS), Smart Vessel Management System (SVMS), remote Alarm Monitoring System, and VLOGe (Electronic logbooks). Leading internal voyage optimization tool development was a key research role in Machine Learning. It was thrilling start-up experience managing and co-ordinating excellent talents in technical, IT/UI/UX, marketing, and client interactions. In all these interactions, the importance of open discussions with trust, honesty and empathy with customers, non-customers and any industry body were paramount which my calm and composed nature was able to handle and bring peace to their anxiety. My source of inspiration is my mother and wife - struggle, resilient, success - the best ships the lead Architect can design.
