About Man Tran

From 2012-2014, I worked as a special education teacher at Compass School Boston in Dorchester, MA. At the same time, I am working toward my online master degree in special education from Grand Canyon University, AZ. I co-taught Math, science, and ELA in the 7-8 grade classroom. In 2011, I substituted for the Randolph Public School and worked as the site coordinator for SpringBoard after school program at the Lyons Elementary School. In 2010, I taught as a Paraprofessional/7th grade mathematics teacher for Atlantis Charter School in Fall River for 5 months. From 2008 to 2010, I taught as a teaching fellow for Citizen Schools, a national non-profit after school program, at Salemwood Middle School in Malden, MA, while pursuing my master of education degree from Lesley University. While with Citizen Schools, I helped to initiate the math intervention room and the parent council program. I received my BS in Biomedical from Bridgewater State College in 2001. I believe that all students deserve a safe and formidable education to help them succeed in life. I make mistakes so I can learn. I learn so I can succeed. I succeed so I can help others.
