About Manas Datta

Manas has over 20 years of experience in further education in London and New York. The new role at FDM predominantly involves delivering soft-skills training to university graduate intake as well as managing, coaching and mentoring consultants who are waiting to start their next placement with one of FDM clients. The roles and responsibilities in United Kingdom included teaching in various IT related subjects, course and team management as well as delivering Continuous Professional Development programme across the college for teaching staff. He has always been passionate about mentoring and coaching staff and students. He had spent four years in New York where he worked as an Adjunct Professor and lectured in subjects like mathematics, statistics, networking and database concepts, Manas has also volunteered in Hong Kong primary schools through HSBC Partner Volunteering Programme. His hobbies and interests include running, playing squash, badminton, cooking, travelling and hiking. He also loves reading modern fiction and nonfiction.
