I have 18+ years of thorough professional experience in the BFSI industry. I have had exposure to various functions like business strategy & development, channel development and management, grievance management, operational excellence, MIS reporting, rewards and recognition, statutory compliance and branch operations including support to Bank Partners. I've gained professional acumen in the field of Insurance Sales, specializing in Life Insurance, Health & General Insurance. I've been competent in setting up winning and effective sales teams; have led teams over the years to ensure profitable and sustainable business growth models; conceptualized and implemented innovative strategies leading to growth in both top and bottom line business; managed diverse stakeholders including senior leadership, direct teams, cross-functional resources & channel partners; along with ensuring operational risk management including fraud prevention and fraud mitigation. My most current venture has been where I've functioned as the Profit Center Head to generate revenue and control cost in an efficient and effective manner without compromising on quality of services. I ensured systematic controlling of the channel distribution network with recruitment, training & developing of insurance consultants, and managing effective sales teams. I have also established new branch offices and satellite offices as per requirement through careful market segmentation; managed zonal level sales-administration personnel; built up strategies to curb the great number of fraudulent activities during insurance sales; and build up efficient team to effectively handle various activities associated with FPU department. I am LOMA trained from ALMI, and MBA Finance and Systems from Utkal University, and have taken additional training on interactive skills, product and brand planning management, and sales and marketing personnel for back-end support.
