What started as a career in journalism, diving deep into India’s political landscape and global news gradually blossomed into a new muse—entertainment. Growing up around films in Bombay, my star-struck eyes led me on a journey that brought me to sunny Los Angeles. It wasn’t just a career shift, but a natural progression. I’ve always loved understanding the “why” behind things—whether it’s through research, data, or writing. As I transitioned from political analysis to exploring how people engage with films, music, and pop culture, I was captivated by the intersection of technology and entertainment. Now, as a graduate student at USC Annenberg, I’m blending my journalism background with my love for entertainment tech. I use my research skills to uncover insights about audience behavior, content trends, and media strategies. Whether it’s studying market trends or collecting data, I’m constantly exploring how we experience stories through entertainment.
