About Manato Chiba

Driven by a fascination with the intersection of technology and human experience, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction Design at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, alongside a double degree at Tohoku University's Graduate School of Information Sciences. In an era where AI is advancing at an unprecedented pace, I believe design holds the key to unlocking the full potential of software development. This conviction led me into the world of UI/UX. After grounding myself in the fundamentals of UI design, my undergraduate research focused on integrating machine learning with smartphone user interfaces, exploring innovative ways to enhance user engagement. Currently, I balance my roles as a software engineer and designer while delving deeper into user experience research within the HCI field. My mission is to bridge the gap between complex technological advancements and user-centric design, ensuring innovations are not just powerful but also intuitive and accessible. I have a strong interest in the startup ecosystem and am eager to collaborate on projects at the intersection of UI/UX, AI, Web3, and entrepreneurship.
