About Manav G.

My problem-solving skills have always been my strength; my performance in numerous Olympiads is a testimony. This led me to pursue a career in Engineering and to be the best; you have to perform the best. I scored enough in JEE to get me to the best and the closest IIT geographically. Over four years as an undergrad, I acquired various abilities while pursuing a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and a minor in CSE. I was an active part of the GNC crew (Guidance, Navigation, and Controls) within the Student Satellite Programme, an enthusiastic student tech team committed to developing satellites solely by students. As the Institute Rubiks Club manager, I was also associated with the Institute Sports Council. In addition, I spent my third year as Marketing Manager at Aavhan - The IITB sports fest. My two-month stint as a Data Analyst intern at LEAP India has also helped me advance my career. While at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, I briefly acquainted myself with the world of pharma and developed some acceptable interests in machine reliability and root cause analysis. An interest in problem-solving and critical analysis led me to pursue a career in management consulting. I was offered a role at Accenture S&C, but I decided to further my learning before starting my career. I joined the PGP program in Management offered by IIM Bangalore to obtain business acumen and financial expertise. I intend to acclimatize myself with all the core business courses and specialize in finance and strategy courses.
