About Mandakini Biswal

Material scientist, with more than 3 year of research experience after Ph.D, in the field of nanomaterial’s chemistry. More specifically my research area focus on design and synthesis of nanomaterials for both fundamental and applications orientated research. Expertise in various synthesis techniques for nanomaterials synthesis. Skilled in handling instruments such as SEM, EDAX, Raman spectroscopy, XRD, XPS, FTIR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, etc. for detail characterization of synthesized nanomaterials. Apart from various synthetic techniques, expertise on Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) techniques for synthesis of bulk as well as ultra-thin two dimensional nanomaterials. Experience in analyzing both structure, properties of nanomaterials and use of the synthesized nanomaterials for energy and environmental applications. Efficient in collaborating within the research group and with other research group to plan, organize and deliver research projects. Possess strong communication & analytical skills with ability to work in a dynamic & multi-disciplinary environment
