In my current role, leading a Robust & Agile team of 87 Engineers & Line Managers within the Component Development & Material Management Function of the Farm Division. This team structure comprises 7 Commodity Heads, each responsible for overseeing specific categories like Casting, Forging, Sheet Metal, Electrical, Proprietary & Polymers as well as Precision Hydraulics, along with one Cost Reduction Head focusing on Cost Re-engineering to get YOY cash flow saving with dedicated Value Engineering approach. I have extensive experience in Farm Equipment, with my diverse roles across functions such as material pricing, strategic sourcing, quality assurance, and supplier technical assistance, demonstrates a robust skill set. My journey from a Process Analyst to heading Tractor Component Development and Material Management reflects my growth and expertise in the field. My tenure in China, I led material pricing and sourcing for M&M's JV, showcases my ability to navigate diverse markets and manage substantial budgets and supplier bases effectively. My highs in China for cost reduction initiatives & First Principal Costing, underscore my analytical prowess and commitment for operational efficiency. My success in strategic sourcing and synergy buying initiatives highlights my strategic thinking and ability to drive tangible business outcomes. After returning from China, I spearheaded new product parts development for the Dhruv & Small Tractor Platform Program. In this role, I served as the SPoC, leveraging my leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration. I played a pivotal role in managing procurement, material cost and leading the parts development & ramp-up for product market launch. Next, I took on a new challenge by managing Farm Machinery CDMM, an upcoming business segment poised for substantial growth. Leading a team of 15 engineers, I lead the transfer and re-establishment of the supply chain from North to brown Field facility at Pithampur. Over three years, developed over 1500+ parts across commodities, laying a solid foundation for business to thrive. This initiative proved instrumental in positioning Wheel and Crawler Harvesters competitively in the market, resulting fast ramp-up once market bounced. We as well stabilized Rice Transplanter, a significant market share gain.
