I have over 5 years of experience working with payroll and over 7 years working with the public. Many of which I have organized events and fundraisers for the community. I worked closely with the United Way, by raising money and event planning. I was not only the project manager for Bob Richards Automotive but also the Executive Assistant to the COO. I have an extensive background in payroll and accounting. Job duties included customer satisfaction, event planning, processing multiple payrolls, accounts receivable/accounts payable, G/L, and month-end reconciliations. I am currently working as the payroll and benefits Manager for Log Creek Companies Beginning-to-end payroll processing for 6 companies. Responsible for routine and complex accounting and administrative work in managing the Companies’ payrolls and benefits functions. Acts as point of contact for employees for all medical, dental, vision, 401K, and all other benefits. Payroll responsibilities include time conversion/approving timecards, overseeing PTO, Roth Retirement deductions, garnishments, sending tax payments to the South Carolina Dept. of Revenue, Monthly and quarterly tax auditing and reconciliation, new hire onboarding Balances Payroll accounts by auditing information; identifying and resolving discrepancies; initiating journal entries Remits tax payments by collecting and verifying data; preparing federal, state, and reporting requirements; reviews possible tax implications of benefits Onboards New Hires- E-Verify, notifies designated personnel, enters new hire into QuickBooks, Orientation of new hire Maintains Insurance including Health, Dental, AFLAC, COBRA FMLA and Employee Open Enrollment Training includes; Tax and Payroll Fundamentals Data Base Training Mentoring New Associates
