About Mandi Karp

Mandi is a senior executive with more than a decade of experience and expertise in public affairs. After studying politics and government at American University in Washington, D.C, Mandi traveled across the country working for public officials at diverse levels of government. The relationships she built along the way are invaluable and she still leans on many of those contacts today. Her professional journey took her from Washington, D.C. to Florida, and then Nevada to Arizona. Her political experience molded her ability to understand policy actors and the legislative process that she leverages for her clients. As the principal of Banana Stand Consulting, a public affairs firm specializing in navigating the policy process to implement strategic plans for business development and legislative objectives, Mandi leads her clients toward achieving success. Prior to starting her own business, Mandi worked for several top tier nationally-watched races for U.S. Senate, Gubernatorial, and Congress, just to name a few. In addition to large federal campaigns, Mandi has personal relationships that she enjoys with policymakers at the local government level in both Arizona and Nevada. Previously, she managed national and local consultants, an on the ground team, and managed relationships with the principle as well as national and local coalitions. She has a unique knowledge of Political Action Committee fundraising and understands how to effectively build and maintain relations to effectively communicate with lawmakers.
